Yes, I must say that first time I wasn’t to happy about the idea to limit my code line length to some value. But after I did some business logic and I had to fix some bugs I’ve found that my code it’s not so understandable.
So, I took the decision to limit my code line length to 110/120 chars.
What you need to do is to edit your Windows registry as follows:
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0\Text Editor
- Add a new string value Guides and set it’s value to RGB(100,100,100), 110
- Restart Visual Studio
